Actions with operating disturbances
In the event of malfunction or operating disturbances first check the points below:

Low room temperature

Cause: Compressor and electric element do not heat
up.
Action: Check and replace the any blown circuit and
main fuses.
Cause: The compressor does not start because of a
too low value set on the heating curve.
Action: Check and possibly raise Increase/reduce heat
(knob on the front panel) or Curve slope.
Cause: The compressor is not running due to tripped
internal overheating protection.
Action: Automatic resetting after cooling for a few
hours.
Cause: Possible earth circuit-breaker tripped.
Action: Reset the earth circuit-breaker, if the earth cir-
cuit-breaker trips repeatedly, call an electrician.

High room temperature

Cause: Incorrect setting of the Curve slope and/or
Increase/reduce heat.
Action: Adjust the setting.
Alarm lamp flashes and the text
HP/MSalarm is displayed
Cause: Bad circulation in the heating water circuit.
Action: Check the heating water pump (16). Open
any radiator thermostats. Check that the parti-
cle filter is not blocked.
Once the fault cause has been rectified set switch (8)
to 0 and then to 1. If the alarm lamp still flashes the
motor cut-out has tripped due to the following causes.
Cause: Dropped phase or temporary mains
disturbance.
Action: Check the fuses.
Cause: Overloaded compressor(27).
Action: Call qualified service personnel.
Cause: Mechanical fault on the compressor (27).
Action: Call qualified service personnel.
Cause: Faulty motor protection (26).
Action: Call qualified service personnel.
Cause: Fine-wire fuse on the relay card has blown.
Action: Replace the fuse.
NOTE!
The fault status must not be repeatedly
reset, as there is a risk of overheating
the motor windings.
Low hot water temperature or
Cause: Large amount of hot water drawn off.
Action: Wait until the water heater reheats.
Cause: Compressor and/or immersion heater does not
heat up.
Action: Check and replace any blown circuit and main
fuses.
Cause: Too low start temperature setting on the con-
trol computer (34).
Action: Adjust the hot water setting HWstart, see Avail-
able information and on-display settings menu

Cause: Possible earth circuit-breaker tripped.
Action: Reset the earth circuit-breaker, if the earth cir-
cuit-breaker trips repeatedly, call an electrician.
As FIGHTER 1310 can be connected
to a large number of external units
even these should be checked.

Indications

Alarm lamp flashes and the text LPalarm

Cause: Start up of a cold installation
Action: Use Electric boiler mode.
Cause: Bad circulation in brine system due to inferior
venting/low pressure or ice (if ice has formed
the brine pump (35) will be warm).
Action: Vent and top up the fluid. Wait a few hours.
Cause: Brine pump (35) malfunction.
Action: Check the brine pump.
Cause: Lack of refrigerant or other fault in the cooling
circuit.
Action: Call qualified service personnel.
Cause: Blocked evaporator due to too low antifreeze
concentration.
Action: Check the brine freezing point.
After taking action, check, on the display, that the dif-
ference between Brine in and Brine out is 2 - 5 °C
the compressor is then operational. (See Control
Information available on the display, menu 4.)
Once the fault cause has been rectified set switch (8)
to 0 and then to 1.
Ifthe operating disturbance cannot be
