Adjusting the Volume

Prerequisites: Ensure the radio is powered on and the main speaker is pointed towards you for
increased loudness and intelligibility, especially in areas with loud background noises.
When and where to use: Your radio is preprogrammed to reset to medium volume rate, which is
Level 12, by default every time the radio powers up.
Procedure:
1 To increase the volume, rotate the Multi-Function Knob

2 To decrease the volume, rotate this knob counterclockwise.
The display shows volume bars and volume level when you change the volume.
