If the power-up test is successful, you see
momentary SELFTEST on the radio display,
followed by the Home screen.

If the power-up test is unsuccessful, you see
Error XX/YY (XX/YY is an alphanumeric
code).
Note: If the radio fails to power-up after
repeating a few times, record the Error XX/YY
code and contact your dealer.
2 To turn off the radio, press and hold the Multi-
Function Knob until the radio display shows

Adjusting the Volume
Power off?, press the Menu Select button below
Yes to power off.
Ensure the radio is power on and the main speaker is
pointed towards you for increased loudness and
intelligibility, especially in areas with loud background
noises.
Your radio is preprogrammed to reset to medium
volume rate, which is Level 12, by default whenever
the radio powers up.
1 To increase the volume, rotate the Multi-Function
Knob
clockwise.
