Irregular wire feed

11 Disassembly
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up
The following instructions must be followed during all maintenance, servicing, assembly,
disassembly, and repair work:
• Switch off the power source.
• Close the gas supply.
• Close the cooling water supply.
• Cut off the compressed air supply.
• Switch off the entire welding system.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.
NOTICE
• Disassembly must only be carried out by qualified personnel (in Germany, see
TRBS 1203).
• Please consult the operating instructions for the welding components, such as the welding
power source and the robot control unit.

Solution
• Clean both directions with
compressed or replace it, if
necessary
• Replace contact tip
• Correct as specified by
manufacturer
• Clean and spray gas nozzle interior
• Check the contact tip and replace it
if necessary.
• Correct welding parameters
• Replace wire guide unit
• Clean gas nozzle
• Check gas cylinder contents and
pressure setting
