6.2.1 Liner

Mounting the liners
1 Stretch out the cable assembly (9).
2 Unscrew gas nozzle (10) and contact tip (11) from torch neck (2).
3 Unscrew nut (6) from central plug (4).
4 Slide liner (8) through the wire conduit (3) up to the retaining nipple (7).
5 Screw down nut (6) by hand.
6 Cut off the excess length of the liner (8) flush with the torch neck (2) or the tip adaptor (1).
7 Unscrew nut (6) and pull out liner (8).
8 Sharpen the liner beginning to an angle of approx. 40° and debur the edge.
9 Slide sharpened liner (8) through the wire conduit (3) up to the retaining nipple (7).
10Screw down nut (6) and tighten with multiple wrench (5).
11 Screw in contact tip (11) and attach gas nozzle (10).
