Start up
1. Connect the plug (standby mode).
The heater can be controlled using the remote
control or the control panel on the heater.
2. Push the O/I- to activate the heater.
The prevailing temperature is shown in the
display (room temperature).
To switch on the heater the elements must be
activated by the output selector or a setpoint
must be registered.
SET
Activate manual or automatic mode.
When LED L6 is lit the heater is in automatic
mode. To switch to manual mode, push SET
repeatedly until L6 starts to blink. To choose
the heating power, push SET repeatedly in
manual mode (upper element element ON,
lower element ON, both elements ON).
To choose automatic mode push the SET-
button when both elements are ON in manual
mode.
Automatic mode
When the heater is on and in automatic
mode, press the + or - to set the desired set
point.
When the room temperature (actual value)
is less than 1 °C below the set point both
elements are on. When the actual value is
1 °C below the set point one element switches
off, when the actual value is equal to the set
point both elements switch off.
When the actual value falls below 1 °C the set
point two elements switch on.
Example:
• Set point: 22 °C, Room temperature
(actual value): 15 °C => Both elements
ON.
• The room temperature increases to 21 °C
=> one element OFF.
• The room temperature increases to 22 °C
=> both elements OFF.
• The room temperature decreases to below
21 °C => both elements ON.
Temperature setting: +10 – +40 °C (+/- 1 °C).

Manual mode
In manual mode the electronic thermostat is
not used. Select manually if upper element,
lower element or both elements should be
switched on.
Timer
The timer allows the desired operating time
0-20 hours to be set.
1. Push TIMER.
2. Select desired time with + and –.
LED L4 is lit when the timer is active.
