    ARCLED5118RGB 1.2 Descrizione ARCLED5118RGB è un proiettore cambiacolori LED di alta tecnologia e potenza, progettato per i contesti di illuminazione artistica per interni ed esterni. Dotato di sintesi di colore RGB, grado di protezione IP65, consente estrema versatilità sia per l’illuminazione creativa di spettacoli sia come strumento nell’illumi- nazione artistica architetturale.

    - 2 - INSTALLAZIONE 2.1 Montaggio L’ARCLED5118RGB può essere collocato su un piano solido. Inoltre, grazie alle possibilità di fissaggio sulla doppia staffa (fig.3), l’unità può essere montata anche a testa in giù, su una traversa. Per il fissaggio oc- corrono dei supporti robusti per il montaggio.

    - 3 - FUNZIONI E IMPOSTAZIONI 3.1 Funzionamento Per accendere l’ ARCLED5118RGB, inserire la spina del cavo di alimentazione in una presa di rete (230V~ 50Hz). L’unità può essere comandata da un unità DMX di comando luce oppure svolgere autonomamente il suo programma.

    ARCLED5118RGB Il proiettore ARCLED5118RGB dispone di diverse modalità operative. Attraverso il display a 3 cifre viene vi- sualizzata la modalità operativa ed il valore assegnato. Mediante i tasti [D], [E] e [UP] è possibile selezionare, modificare e confermare le impostazioni base dell’unità riportate nella tabella precedente.

    • Al termine dell’impostazione la funzione verrà salvata automaticamente. • Servirsi dei connettori DMX presenti sull’ ARCLED5118RGB e di un cavo XLR per formare una catena di unità. In certe condizioni e lunghezze si consiglia di effettuare una terminazione come mostrato a pagina 12.

    ARCLED5118RGB 3.10 Indirizzamento DMX con indirizzo ID Nel caso in cui l’unità di comando luce non abbia canali sufficienti per la gestione indipendente di ciascu- na unità installata è comunque possibile con l’impiego dell’indirizzo ID, il controllo autonomo per singola unità.

    ARCLED5118RGB ATTENZIONE La parte schermata del cavo (calza) non deve mai essere collegata alla terra dell’impianto; ciò comportereb- be malfunzionamenti delle unità e dei controller. Per passaggi lunghi può essere necessario l’inserimento di un amplificatore DMX. In tal caso, è sconsigliato utilizzare nei collegamenti cavo bilanciato microfonico poiché non è in grado di trasmettere in modo affidabile i dati di controllo DMX.

  • Page 20 ARCLED5118RGB 1.2 Description ARCLED5118RGB is a high-tech and powerful colorchangers, designed for indoor and outdoor artistic light- ing applications. Based on RGB color mixing system, ingress protection IP65, ARCLED5118RGB high versatil- ity allows for creative and spectacular entertainment lighting effects as well as for artistic architectural light- ing applications.
  • Page 21 2.1 Mounting ARCLED5118RGB may be set up on a solid and even surface. The unit can also be mounted upside down to a cross arm. For fixing, stable mounting clips are required. The mounting place must be of sufficient stability and be able to support a weight of 10 times of the unit’s weight.
  • Page 22 ARCLED5118RGB - 3 - FUNCTIONS AND SETTINGS 3.1 Operation Connect the supplied main cable to a socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Then the unit is ready for operation and can be operated via a DMX controller or it independently performs its show program in succession. To switch off, disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
  • Page 23 ARCLED5118RGB 3.3 Menu structure ARCLED5118RGB allows several operating modes. By the 3 digits display the ARCLED5118RGB shows the current operating mode and the assigned value. By using the [D] button and [E] button it is possible to set- up the primary settings.
  • Page 24 3.9 Adjusting the start address To able to operate the ARCLED5118RGB with a light controller, adjust the DMX start address for the first a DMX channel. If e. g. address 33 on the controller is provided for controlling the function of the first DMX channel, adjust the start address 33 on the ARCLED5118RGB.
  • Page 25 ARCLED5118RGB 3.10 DMX addressing with ID address Where the light control unit has not enough channels for independent management of each unit installed is still possible with the use of the ID, the autonomous control unit. • Set on the unit, as needed, the same value DMX (01-50).
  • Page 26 ARCLED5118RGB ATTENTION The screened parts of the cable (sleeve) must never be connected to the system’s earth, as this would cause faulty fixture and controller operation. Over long runs can be necessary to insert a DMX level matching amplifier. For those connections the use of balanced microphone cable is not recommended because it cannot transmit control DMX data reliably.
