Bei korrekter Einstellung müssen die Scheibe und die Kerbe in einer Flucht liegen. Kontrollieren, ob der Auslöseschieber noch eingerastet ist. Der Spalt zwischen Sicherungsscheibe und Markierung sollte 1–5 mm betragen (1.) (siehe Bild A).
