Starting the Engine

1. Hold the handle and move the engine speed
controller to the C
cold, or to the F

resistance, then pull sharply to start. When the
engine starts, slowly return the throttle to the
F position if the choke has been engaged

Important:
To prevent damage to the
machine, do not pull the recoil start handle
when the engine is running.
Note:
If the machine does not start, contact an
Authorized Service Dealer.

The blade is not engaged at this stage;

Engaging the Blade

1. Ensure that the throttle control lever is in the
F position

2. Press the BBC latch button and pull the BBC
control lever back against the handle
