Adjusting the Cutting
Height
WARNING
Adjusting the cutting height may bring you
into contact with the moving blade, causing
serious injury.
• Shut off the engine and wait for all moving
parts to stop.
• Do not put your fingers under the housing
when adjusting the cutting height.
CAUTION
If the engine has been running, the muffler
will be hot and can severely burn you.
Keep away from the hot muffler.
Adjusting the Height of Cut
1.
Grip the height-of-cut lever and pull sideways to
disengage it from the locking notch
1. Height-of-cut adjusting lever
2.
Push the lever forward to lower or pull it
backward to raise the height of cut
3.
Release the lever at the required position and
ensure that it locks firmly into 1 of the 7 setting
notches
