  • Page 2 Base Retainer Clip and Flat Washer Remove (5) Screws Old Base Cap Base Caps Base Hub Tube Push Cap NOTE: Do not over tighten screws on base Base cap, dimples may occur. Assembly Base Cap Replacement Turn chair upside down. Remove base retainer clip and washer if included (old clip should be discarded).
  • Page 3 Fixed Base Turn chair upside down. Locate and remove 1/2" hex head bolt from inside base tube, using a 3/4" Remove socket. Remove base from chair by pulling up and off. Follow the standard base procedure for removing and installing the base cap. Re-install the base onto chair by rotating until the notch on base tube drops down onto raised tab on chair control.
