Operation
Filter function
To filter relevant messages out of a number of logged activities of the Draco MV, the syslog
monitoring offers various filter options.
To set and activate a filter, proceed as follows:
1. Activate the respective checkbox(es) to set the desired filter option(s).
2. Click the Filter button to activate the filter settings.
3. Click the Clear button to deactivate an activated filter setting.
The following filter options are available:
Option
Date
Facility
Severity
Host
Message
Filter options are not valid within the locally stored log files.
Recording function
All messages shown in the Syslog are equipped with various recording functions.
 Click the Save trace button to store messages shown in the Syslog (filtered or unfiltered).
The messages will be stored in a .txt file.
 Click the Clear trace button to remove messages shown in the Syslog.
 Click the Pause button to stop recording messages.
 Click the button again to continue.
