JUMP-STARTING YOUR VEHICLE (cont'd)
• Cool Down – After cranking, the charger enters a mandatory 4 minute (240 second) cool down
state. During this period, no settings can be changed. The buttons are ignored. The digital display
indicates the remaining cool down time in seconds. It starts at 240 and counts down to 0. During
the cool down period, the battery is still being charged. After 4 minutes, the digital display will
change from displaying the countdown back to displaying "rdy" indicating that another crank cycle
can be started.
MOVING AND STORAGE
• Store the charger unplugged, in an upright position. The cord will still conduct electricity until it is
unplugged from the outlet.
• Store inside, in a cool, dry place.
• DO NOT store the clips on the handle, clipped together, on or around metal, or clipped to cables.
• If the charger is moved around the shop or transported to another location, take care to avoid/
prevent damage to the cords, clips and charger. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or
property damage.
