Handling electrical cables

z Use cable ducts to lay cables through walls with sharp edges.
z Do not lay loose or bent cables next to electrically conductive
materials (metal).
z Do not pull on the cables.
z Attach and lay the cables in such a manner that they cannot be tripped
over or damaged.
z The electrical power supply may only be connected by a specialist
workshop.
z The connection to the vehicle's electrical system should be protected
by a 40 A fuse for the power supply and a 2 A fuse for the voltage
monitor.
z Never lay power supply lines (battery leads) in the vicinity of signal or
control cables.

Target group
This installation manual contains the essential information and instruc-
tions for installing the parking cooler. It is intended for competent installer
technical staff who are familiar with the guidelines and safety precautions
to be applied when installing lorry accessories.
This installation manual should always be kept with the unit to which it
relates.

Intended use

The installation kit (Art. no. 9100300082) enables the installation of a
CoolAir RTX1000 or RTX2000 parking cooler in a factory-made roof
opening (ventilation hatch) of a Mercedes-Benz Actros, Antos or Arocs
SFTP Series cab (excluding Compact Space).

NOTICE!
z The parking cooler is not suitable for installation in construction
machines, agricultural machines or similar equipment. They will not
work properly if exposed to strong vibrations.
z Operating parking cooler with voltages other than those specified
can result in damage to the devices.
