Connecting electrical power to the awning

Connecting electrical power to the
awning
WARNING!
!
 Only a qualified electrician should connect the awning to the
electrical power.
 Wire to a 12 Vg power source with correct polarity that is able
to provide 60 W (fig. k, page 2, sw = black, br = brown). Make
all connections in compliance with all applicable electrical
codes.
 Install a breaker or fuse (T5A) (fig. k 1, page 2) between
power source and awning.
 Install an external power switch (fig. k 2, page 2) between
power source and awning.
 Provide an ignition interlock in the electric control system to
ensure that when the ignition is switched on no voltage is
delivered to the awning. Otherwise the awning could be opened
while driving. The ignition interlock can be done by a normally
closed relay connected to the D+-signal (fig. k 3, page 2).
➤ Keep to the specified wire cross section:
