Performance Verification and Adjustments

Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) Performance Verification

VSWR is a measure of how efficiently RF power is transmitted from an RF power
source. In real systems, mismatched impedances between the RF source and
load can cause some of the power to be reflected back towards the source and
vary the VSWR.
Procedure (DC to 10 MHz)
This performance verification requires the following equipment:
– network analyzer (E5071C)
– mechanical calibration kit (85054B/D)
