    Device Description and Operating Principle The model IC-1545-DL is an intermittent pneumatic compression device that consists of a compression garment connected to a pneumatic compression pump. The pump’s cyclical inflation and deflation of the compression garments stimulates the flow of blood. Pneumatic compression devices are proven to reduce edema, help close up chronic ulcers, and act as a prophylaxis for deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
