This indication stipulates matters that have the risk of causing injury as well as
matters for which there is the likelihood of occurrence of physical damage only if the
product is operated incorrectly while ignoring this indication.
Symbol Examples

be performed. Indications within or nearby this symbol are specifically
prohibited. (The example at left indicates that disassembly is prohibited.)
The black dot (0) means that the indicated action must be performed.

performed. (The example at left indicates that the power plug must be
unplugged from the electrical socket.)
. Button Type and Coin Type Battery Precautions
• Coin batteries present a risk of accidentally being swallowed by small
children. Always keep coin batteries out of the reach of small children.
• Should a battery be swallowed accidentally or if there is a possibility that
a battery has been swallowed, contact a physician immediately. Swallowing a
battery can result in chemical burns, mucosal tissue penetration, and other
serious problems that create the risk of death.
