8. Errors, faults

Errors or faults are indicated on the controller by one of
the red alarm LEDs glowing continuously. At the same
time, the beeper sounds at intervals.
Further details about the fault can be obtained from HO-
MApp. To access this information, first press the „Un-
lock" button on the controller to activate the Bluetooth
interface. HOMApp can then be used to establish a con-
nection to the controller.
For further information, see the section on HOMApp –
Station status menu – Faults and events submenu.
These menus are not password protected and can also be
used by the end customer.
Possible errors/faults:
Overtemperature in the motor winding:
Setting in Station parameters menu – ATEX mode
„switched off":
The fault is cleared once the components have cooled
down. The pump is enabled again.
Setting in Station parameters menu – ATEX mode
„switched on":
The fault is cleared once the components have cooled
down. The pump remains blocked until it is reset man-
ually.
Overload tripping due to excess current:
The controller has 1-phase motor current monitoring.
After tripping, the pump remains blocked until it is reset
manually.
High water alarm:
The inflow volume is greater than the amount that can be
pumped away. The message is acknowledged automati-
cally. However, it remains in the event list.
Measured value faulty:
The 4-20 mA signal is less than 2.5 mA. Cause: lead break
or sensor faulty.
Float switch plausibility:
The response of the float switches is monitored with the
aid of a plausibility check. If a float switch reports a status
in a physically incorrect sequence, a fault message is is-
sued. Check the functionality of the float switches in the
sump.

9. Installation and assembly

The controller housing is mounted on the wall using the
supplied wall brackets.
Zener barriers
There is sufficient space in the housing to install 2 Zen-
er barriers. 2-channel versions are used, e.g. Steel
9002/13--280-093-001 (HOMA art. no. 1254422). When
connecting the intrinsically safe circuit, ensure correct po-
larity for 4-20 mA signals. Connect the ENS hydrostatic
probe with red (+) and black (-) to terminals 3+ and 4-. The
polarity is irrelevant when connecting float switches.
Replacing the battery
Disconnect the device from the power supply and open
the cover. The battery (HOMA art. no. 1952216) is located
on the CPU. The battery should be changed annually.
