Fixing the flues to the rangehood:
1. At the two flue bracket mounting points marked in J (refer to page 4), drill a small pilot hole using a 6mm drill
bit, to a depth of approximately 40mm. After drilling, the distance between two mounting holes should be
160mm as indicated as B in above Fig. 1 (refer to page 5).
2. Fixing 2 plastic anchors into the holes drilled as above.
3. Using a screwdriver, fix remaining two Screws A (refer to page 3) and two washers into the plastic anchors,
through the holes on the flue mounting bracket, shown in Fig 4 as below. Hands tighten.
4. Check the flue mounting bracket is level and hands tighten the screws.
5. Fixing the upper flue to the bracket by using Screw B, shown as below in Fig.5.
6. Sliding down the upper and lower flues to the top of the rangehood body, shown as below in Fig. 6. Make
sure the bottom of the lower flue fits perfectly into the slot on the rangehood.
7. Adjusting the position of the ducting pipe according to the specific ducting method, i.e. through soffit, wall or
roof; and make sure the flues are up straight.
