Settings

Code

The code prevents the washing
machine being used without your
knowledge.
Options
Activate
If you activate the code, you have to
enter a code after switching the
washing machine on. Otherwise it
cannot be operated.
The factory default code is 125.
Change
You can set a different three-digit
code.
Do not forget the code you have
set.
If you forget the code, only a Miele
service technician can unlock the
washing machine.
Important! Make a note of your new
code.
Deactivate
The washing machine is to be
operated again without entering a
code. This only appears if the code
has been activated previously.

Units

The temperature can be displayed as
degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
The factory setting is Celsius (°C).

Brightness

You can set the brightness of the
display, the sensors, and the dimmed
sensors.
Options
Display
Controls the brightness of the
display.
–        (dark)
–        (bright) (factory setting)
Sensors active
Controls the brightness of the
activated sensors.
–        (dark)
–        (factory setting)
–        (bright)
Sensors inactive
Controls the brightness of the
sensors that can be activated.
–        (dark)
–        (factory setting)
–        (bright)
Useful tip: Ensure that there is a
discernible difference in brightness
between the activated and dimmed
sensors. A big difference in brightness
makes it easier to operate the
appliance.
