3 Connecting/Disconnecting

CAUTION
Do not connect or disconnect the port replicator while the computer is powered on or in
the standby or hibernation mode.

Power off the computer, and disconnect all cables
from the computer.

Turn over the computer, then open the cover of the
expansion bus connector.

Insert the projection of the port replicator into the
small opening on the computer side.
Lower the computer.

CAUTION
Do not attempt to connect the computer if there
is an object between the computer and the port
replicator. Doing so could damage the computer
and the port replicator.

Press the computer lightly against the port replicator.
This will cause the expansion bus connector on the
bottom of the computer to connect to the expansion
bus connector of the port replicator.
CAUTION
Do not attempt to move the port replicator when the computer is connected.
If the computer malfunctions while connected to the port replicator, power off the
computer, disconnect the port replicator, connect the AC adaptor to the computer, and
check to see if the computer operates normally. If the computer operates normally,
the port replicator may be malfunctioning. Contact Panasonic Technical Support.
