Before using for the first time

Setting up Miele@home

Prerequisite:
- Home Wi-Fi network
Your rangehood is equipped with an
integrated Wi-Fi module. The
rangehood can be connected to the
household Wi-Fi network.
After this the rangehood is operated via
the Miele@mobile App.
If your Miele cooktop is connected to a
home Wi-Fi network, you can control
the rangehood automatically via the
Con@ctivity function.
Before installing the rangehood in its
final location, ensure that the signal
of your Wi-Fi network is strong
enough.
Please note that you cannot set up a
Wi-Fi connection at the same time as
the wireless Con@ctivity 2.0 system
(remote control).

Signing off the remote control

The remote control must be signed off
to set up the connection to the Wi-Fi
network. Operation is still possible from
the control panel of the rangehood.
 Sign off the remote control (see
"Signing off the remote control").

Connecting via the App

The Miele@mobile App can be used to
connect to your network.
 Install the Miele@mobile App on your
mobile device.
To log in you will need:
1. Your Wi-Fi network password
2. Your rangehood password
The password for your rangehood
consists of the last nine digits of the
serial number. This can be found on the
appliance's data plate.
The data plate is located on the casing
of the rangehood and is visible when
the cover for the charcoal filter slots is
removed.
