    S26 Camera Manual: Installation INSTALLATION Like all MOBOTIX cameras, the S26 is extremely flexible in terms of how and where it can be installed. An S26 can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. In fixed or mobile applications – constantly changing locations or in/on vehicles of any kind. The S26 cameras are weatherproof according to IP66 and can work reliably in temperatures ranging from –40 to 60 °C/–40 to 140 °F without extra housing, heating or fan.

Depending on where the camera is mounted (ceiling or wall) and on the live image display preferred by the user, certain important basic settings and, if necessary, their adjustment must be configured when a S26 is first installed.

This is not the ”true” direction of North but rather the main line of sight or the focus of the camera or sensor module.
