CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

Required Instrument:
Set of current shunt:
0.001 Ω, 0.1%
0.01 Ω, 0.1%
0.1 Ω, 0.1% or better
1 Ω, 0.1%
10 Ω, 0.1%
a) Symmetry Adjustment:
• Select the 2000 µΩ range and measure a shunt of 1000 µΩ. Write down the
measure A1, then measure the same shunt when pressing the switch down to
(-). Write down the measure A2.
• Adjust R64 to display A dis. = A1 + A2
• Adjust R64 to display the same value in positive and negative.
b) Zero Adjustment:
• Select the 2000 µΩ range and short the input with a gage 12 copper wire as
shown.
• Adjust R76 to read 000 CTS on the display.
• Check the zero on all the others ranges. (0 ± 1 CT)
c) End of Scale Adjustment:
• Select the 200 mΩ range and measure a 100 mΩ shunt.
• Adjust R98 to read 1000 on the display.
• Select the negative current and make sure that the reading is between 996 and
1004 mΩ.
• Check all the others ranges; accuracy = 0.5% max.
