Safety Notes
Work in well ventilated rooms. Whenever possible use the dust collection
systems. Wood-dust can cloud the sight. Some coatings and wood dust
may be harmful and toxic. According to your use, wear gloves and safety
goggles. If the dust collection system cannot be attached, wear dust mask.
Operate the saw only on a firm, plane, non-slip and vibration-free
foundation.
Keep your work area clean. Disorder can cause accidents.
Do not use the saw in wet or damp environments.
Take care of adequate lighting.
Do not use the scroll saw near flammable liquids, gases or dust. Sparks
may ignite the dust or fumes.
Do not overload the unit. You work better and safer within the stated
power range.
Only operate the saw with complete and correctly mounted protection. Do
not make changes to the saw which can compromise your safety.
Only use intact and well sharpened saw blades. Cracked or form changed
or blunt saw blades always should be changed immediately.
Insert the saw blade so that the saw teeth point to the bottom. Tension the
saw blade so hard that it cannot crack.
Take to the right working posture. Place yourself in front of the saw so that
the teeth have to point to you.
First switch off the unit before making any adjustments and when the unit
is not in use, after finishing work and maintenance, and then disconnect
the power lead from the mains supply.
In the event of an electrical or mechanical malfunction, immediately switch
off the saw and do not use it further.
Do not disassemble the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. Have the
unit repaired by a professional or contact our customer service. Always
use original replacement parts.
