Ex approval

Observe the following standards for use in hazardous areas:
EN 60079-0 : 2012 + A11 : 2013, EN 60079-15 : 2010, IEC 60079-0 :2011 (Ed.6), + Corr.1.
2012 + Corr.2. 2013, IEC 60079-15 : 2010 (Ed. 4)
Specific conditions of use (for ATEX)
● The modules shall be installed in a suitable enclosure providing a degree of protection of
at least IP54 according to EN 60079-15, taking into account the environmental conditions
under which the equipment will be used.
● Provisions shall be made to prevent the rated voltage from being exceeded by transient
disturbances of more than 119 V.
Specific conditions of use (for IECEx)
● The equipment shall only be used in an area of not more than pollution degree 2, as
defined in IEC 60664-1.
● The modules shall be installed in a suitable enclosure providing a degree of protection of
at least IP54 according to IEC 60079-15, taking into account the environmental conditions
under which the equipment will be used.
● Provisions shall be made to prevent the rated voltage from being exceeded by transient
disturbances of more than 119 V.
Switch:
SW1 On/Off switch - will not be used during operational maintenance
The device has to be used in pollution degree 2 environment only.
Use copper supply wires with a diameter of at least 0.75 mm
