Installing the secondary cooling fan

Perform the following procedure to install the secondary cooling fan after you
install the redundant power supply cage.
Prerequisites
Turn off the BCM450 system.
You require a Phillips head screwdriver.
Ensure you disconnect the BCM450 main unit from the AC power source.

Insert the P2, P3, P4, P5, P6, P7, and P8 into the cable slot on the chassis
(secured with the grommet).
Ensure that one power run connects to one MBM backplane connector.
Each power run has multiple connectors. Do not connect a single power run
to both MBM backplane connectors.
Connect the 4-pin PSU AUX cable to the 4-pin AUX connector.
Connect the 20-pin PSU Main cable to the PSU Main connector.
Install the main unit top cover.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to equipment
You must wear an antistatic grounding strap at all times when
handling electronic components. Failure to do so can result in
damage to the equipment.
