Fabr ic handling , when sew ing tubu lar and
hard to reach garmen tareas, is simpl ified and
made eas ier when you use the free-arm
sewi ng capability of your sew ing machine.
Sleeves
• Free -arm sew ing takes lh e dilficulty out of
tops titch ing, sleeves, fini shing waistbands
and trouser legs rota te smoothly under the
need le, around the arm, allowrng you to
place your stitching accurately.
Buttons
• Sew ing buttons on a culf or neckband is
easy with free-arm sew ing . The sew ing
arm allows room for culfs to slip onto
w ithout being stretched out of shape , and
you can also see and handle the stitch ing
area more easily.
Bar tacks
• Bar tacks reinforce areas of strain and can
be app lied to ready-made garments, as
