Water hardness

There are various ways of measuring the water hardness :
Measure the water hardness where the unit is installed
using the test strip provided.
Ask your water supply company. This information can
normally also be found on your water bill.
The following website provides information on water
hardness where you live : www.unitedutilities.com
Select the water hardness you have measured by pressing
the " Water hardness " icon several times. You can select
from the following ranges :
< 15 °fH, 15 – 25 °fH, 25 – 35 °fH, > 35 °fH
°fH : French water hardness unit
