Automatic hygienic flush

The hygienic flush rinses the water-bearing parts of your shower-toilet with hot water and
thus cleans them. The unit detects when a hygienic flush is required and informs you
automatically. Once the hygienic flush message appears, you can use the shower-toilet
as usual until the hygienic flush is carried out. However, we recommend that you carry out
the hygienic flush as suggested within a few days of the message appearing. The hygienic
flush takes approximately 30 minutes.
The automatic hygienic flush reminder is activated by default. More detailed descriptions
can be found in Section 6.5, Hygienic flush reminder function, and Section 10.10, Manual
hygienic flush.
Once started, the hygienic flush can be interrupted. However, we recommend carrying
out the hygienic flush without interrupting it to allow the thermal cleaning to be completed
properly.
The water is heated up for the hygienic flush. The unit could produce noises similar to a
kettle boiling water. This is completely normal. Wait until the hygienic flush is completed
in full.
The hygienic flush uses hot water : warning, risk of scalding ! Do not use the shower-toilet
during this time. The hygienic flush time can easily be set using the remote control.

There is a message on your remote control saying " Hygienic
flush required ". Press " Service information " to switch to the
" Hygienic flush " menu.
