Automatic decalcification

The GROHE Sensia
removes limescale from all water-bearing parts. The unit detects when decalcification is
required and informs you automatically. Once the message for decalcification appears,
you can use the shower-toilet as usual until the decalcification is carried out. However,
we recommend that you carry out the decalcification as suggested within a few days of
the message appearing. The decalcification programme takes approximately 75 minutes.

The shower-toilet builds up limescale depending on how much it is used. The limescale
depends on the water hardness, the temperature settings and the use of the shower-toilet.
If you end the decalcification preparation by pressing " Cancel ", the decalcification
message disappears. The unit begins to recalculate the next time for decalcification.
Once started, the decalcification programme cannot be interrupted. The shower-toilet
functions are blocked during the operation. However, the unit can be used as a normal
toilet without spray functions.
Please note that it is impossible to rule out damage to the unit or residues in the water if
you use unsuitable decalcifying agents. Any guarantee and liability claims arising from
damage caused in this way are explicitly rejected.
