Proper disposal of old units
Used electrical appliances often contain materials which can be recycled. At the same
time, there are also many hazardous materials which guarantee the functionality and
safety of the appliance. Incorrect handling or improper disposal could render these
materials damaging to people and the environment.
The icon on the rating plate of your shower-toilet indicates that it may not be disposed of
with normal household waste. Please dispose of the old batteries correctly. They may not
be disposed of with household waste.
Please contact your local recycling centre to dispose of used electrical appliances and
ensure they are recycled properly.
The shower-toilet's technical unit with power cable ( not the ceramic bowl and the toilet
seat ) is an electronic device which is mandatory to return in many countries. GROHE
participates in the relevant return systems in all countries involved.
Until it is removed, store your old unit out of reach of children.
The plastic parts are labelled with international standard icons to allow separation
into components of different types of plastic. So your old unit can be recycled with
the  environment in mind.
