Refueling the Machine

■ Machine shut down
Requirements
■ Engine cool
■ Machine/fuel tank level with the ground
■ Fresh, clean fuel supply
Procedure
Perform the procedure below to refuel the machine.
WARNING
Fire hazard. Fuel and its vapors are extremely flammable. Burning fuel can cause
severe burns.
► Do not refuel while heater is in operation.
► Do not refuel if heater surface is hot.
► Keep all sources of ignition away from the machine while refueling.
► Do not refuel if the machine is positioned in a truck fitted with a plastic bed liner.
Static electricity can ignite the fuel or fuel vapors.
► Refuel only when the machine is outdoors.
► Clean up spilled fuel immediately.
1. Remove the fuel cap (a).
Note: It is recommended to place the fuel cap into the fuel cap holder (b) to keep
the cap clean from debris which could affect the fuel gauge reading.

2. Fill the fuel tank to the base of the neck.
CAUTION
Fire and health hazard. Fuel expands when heated. Expanding fuel in an over-filled
tank can lead to spills and leaks.
► Do not overfill the fuel tank.
3. Re-install the fuel cap.
Result
The procedure to refuel the machine is now complete.
