Figure 2.14
Final adjustment
In order to achieve the best results during field driving, the wing sections should be set so that
there is a slight downhang when they are in raised position.
! In order to make final adjustments, the wing sections must be in their default parallel alignment
setting, see" Basic setting" on page 24.
1 Lower the default set implement on the ground in folded out position, so that it stands on its
discs and roller.
2 Adjust the wing folding ram piston rods approximately 2 turns on all rams. The rams must not
come loose from the implement. The rams may be moved in or out slightly in order to facilitate
adjustment.
! Distance (B) must be the same for all wing folding rams.
The wing sections will now have a slight downhang on both sides when in raised position.
NOTE!
The wing sections must not hang so much that the ends collide in the centre when the im-
plement is in raised position (A).
NOTE!
Do not screw out the piston rod end more than 45 mm.
NOTE!
Check that the lock nuts are tightened at least once per season. If the lock nuts come loose,
there is a danger that the cylinder pipes will rotate, changing the length of the cylinders. This will
produce in an uneven work result.
NOTE!
If this check and tightening is not carried out, the cylinders may come free from the wing
sections, potentially resulting in serious personal injury!
