12.3 Assembly
Connect the clutch shoes together with the spring.
Bolt the clutch on the flywheel. Do not forget the
washers (A).
Note the rotation arrows (B) on the clutch shoes.
12.4 Dismantling the clutch drum
1. Remove the 4 screws and withdraw the drive axle
from the shaft. If necessary, use a screwdriver to
separate the two covers.
2. The drive axle can be dismantled for replacement, if
necessary. Use a suitable punch (max. Ø 5 mm) and
hammer to drive the axle out of the clutch drum. The
axle may be hard to remove. If so, heat the drum to
approx. 120°C using a hot air gun.
3. Dismantle the circlip using circlip pliers. Press out
the clutch drum. There may be a tight fit between
the bearing and the axle of the clutch drum. If so,
heat the entire cover using a hot air gun.
