SATA connector (optical drive)
Used to connect the signal cable of the slim optical drive.
Coin-cell battery
Your server has a special type of memory that maintains the date, time, and configuration information for
built-in features. The coin-cell battery keeps the information active when you turn off the server.
SATA connector 1 (ports 4–7)
Used to connect to mini-SAS ports 4-7 on the backplane for 2.5-inch drives.
Storage-drive power connector
Used to connect the 4-pin power connector on the easy-swap-drive module.
SATA connector 0 (ports 0–3)
Used to connect to the mini-SAS ports 0-3 on the backplane or connect the signal cable on the
easy-swap-drive module.
Front panel connector 1
Used to connect to the front panel board.
