(2) Battery charge level warning light
It lights and sounds the sound alarm when the ignition circuit is
energised and turns off when the engine exceeds the idling
speed.
If this indicator light stays on when the engine is running at full
operating speed, this signals that the alternator is not working,
and therefore the battery is not charging properly.
REMARK
If the warning light remains off when the ignition key is turned
to position ON, this means that the alternator is faulty or
broken.
