FUNCTIONING
7. Open the radiator cover (5) completely and make sure that
it is kept open by the apposite rod (for further details, see
"RADIATOR COVER (3-33)").
8. Loosen the fastening screws of the cab floor (6).
9. Open the inspection door (7), pull the cab floor release
lever (8) in the direction indicated by the arrow (backwards)
with your left hand and at the same time push the handle
(9) upward in the direction indicated by the arrow (approx.
45°).
The canopy or cab are an integral part of the machine, as
well as the cab floor, and they are all lifted together.
NOTICE
q If the cab floor cannot be lifted, this means that the
release lever (8) isn't in the correct release position.
Pull the handle (9) backwards with your right hand,
then repeat the procedure described above.
q When tilting or closing the cab floor, be extremely
careful, and keep away from the area under the cab
floor.
REMARK
The cab floor tilts thanks to the operation of a gas cylinder, so
when the ambient temperature is low, the operating effort
increases.
10. After tilting the floor open, make sure that the locking pin
(10) is inserted in the groove (12) of the locking plate (14).
11. Insert the safety pin (13) in the hole (14) from the inside.
12. Turn until the coupling at the end of the safety pin (13) is
completely engaged with the pin (15).
