FUNCTIONING
(1) Control locking safety lever
q Before leaving the driver seat, lower the equipment to the ground and shift the safety lever to the
"locked" position (L). If the safety lever is not in the locking position and the control levers are
inadvertently touched, this can cause accidents or serious injuries.
q Always make sure that the lever is in the "locked" position, as shown in the figure.
q When shifting the safety lever, take care to avoid touching the equipment control levers.
Lever (1) activates the safety device to lock the working equipment, the rotation, the translation and the optional
equipment.
When the lever is pulled up, it is set to LOCK position (L).
The safety device is hydraulic, so even if the control levers and pedals are moved, the movements of the working
equipment and the machine are not executed.
REMARK
If the safety lever on the right or left side is not in the "locked" position (L), the engine cannot be started. Before
operating the ignition switch, always make sure that the safety lever is in the "locked" position. If the engine stops
while the safety lever is in "free" position (F), shift the lever back to the "locked" position before operating the
ignition switch.
(F): free
(L): locked
