will switch itself off. Since this setting is saved, the dimmer
must be reset to the brightest level before the lamp will shine
again. For technical reasons, if the lamp is set to the very
lowest dimmed level, the light may flicker. If this bothers you,
please increase the brightness of the light.
In motor homes with two ceiling lights, one light can only be
switched on separately by using a switch fitted on the light.
The wall lamps themselves must be switched on before they
can be controlled by using the control panel.
In the Optima Ontour Edition series, there is no extra key for
switching the wall lights / lighting in the seating arrangement on
and off. Use the master switch for this purpose, or the switch
located directly on the lamp.
Memory buttons
• This key is used to save and recall the settings of individual
lights. Press briefly on the desired memory button to recall the
last saved settings of all switchable 12 V lights. Press longer
on this button to save the setting of a light. These memory
buttons are not used to save the settings of the 230 V electrical
devices (e.g. hot-air heating).
These keys are not on the standard Control Panel.
Awning light
• Press this button to switch the entrance light on and off. It is not
possible to switch this light on when the engine is running. The light
will turn off automatically when the engine is started.
The awning light must be switched off when the van is on the
road.
Kitchen light
• Press briefly on the button to switch the kitchen light as
well as the spots on and off.
LED ambient lighting
• Briefly press the button to switch on the indirect light.
Press longer on the button to regulate how brightly you
want the lights to shine (only in the sleeping area).
This key is not assigned in the Siesta/Optima Ontour
Edition series.
