• When driving, the satellite system must be lowered to its
park position. Increasing the normal height of the trailer
by means of an antenna that has not been lowered can
increase the risk of accidents. The car driver is solely
responsible for the condition of the superstructures and
fittings. The antenna is automatically lowered when the
motor is started.
• A maximum speed of 130 km/h is permitted.
• Should there be a gale or thunderstorm, both the turnable
satellite dish as well as the vehicle itself may be damaged.
• The satellite system has an emergency stop in the event
of an overload.
• Malfunctions or damage to the satellite system itself
may occur if it is operated outside the suitable tempera-
ture range of -20° C to +45° C.
• When driving, the antenna is subject to the force of vi-
bration. Depending on how often you drive, check the
system regularly to determine whether it is firmly secu-
red and tighten any loose parts.

ting instructions.
In the Optima Ontour Edition series, the SAT system is inclu-
ded as part of a package together with a special TV. This TV
enables the SAT system to be controlled directly via the TV.
Therefore, no further control units or devices are required.

Setting the satellite
To position the SAT system, activate the KATHREIN satellite
control.
1. As soon as the TV has been switched on, a message
appears on the screen, asking whether the antenna should
be positioned. Press Enter to confirm.
2. The antenna automatically positions itself to 19.2°.
After the initial positioning of the antenna, the system remem-
bers the satellite's position and returns to it the next time the
TV is switched on.
If the antenna should not find a position within three mi-
nutes, press the red "GoTo" key on the remote control and
check your position in the control menu. Then repeat the
antenna position request.
Should the antenna be blocked by branches or ice on the
roof while it is being extended, a warning will appear on
the TV screen. In this case, remove any hindrances within
the antenna's rotating area.
Among other things, initial settings can be made and a chan-
nel search can be carried out in the TV menu. In this connec-
tion, please refer also to the device manufacturer's operating
manual.
