Display and operation

Display EVS
The following operating statuses can be displayed via the EVS display (see Fig. 2 and 3):
Fault (LED lights green)
There is a fault.
Smoke extraction (LED lights red)
The smoke exhaust fan is in smoke extraction mode.
Ventilation On (LED lights green)
The smoke exhaust fan is in ventilation mode.
Ready for operation (LED lights green)
Ventilation is deactivated.
Operation EVS
The EVS can be switched using a rotary switch in the following operating statuses (see Fig. 2 and 3):
Smoke extraction
Ventilation damper move to OPEN position. The smoke exhaust fan is set to high speed in smoke extraction mode. The
"Smoke extraction" display lights up. The motor protection has no function. Fan deactivation is only possible by resetting the
triggered alarm or by using the external fireman's switch.
Ready
Ventilation is deactivated. The "Ready for operation" display lights up. If an external smoke extraction signal is triggered,
the smoke extraction mode will activate, as described under "Smoke extraction". In this switch position, the smoke exhaust
fan can also be switched using a connected remote switching point in ventilation mode (e.g. weekly autotimer (WSUP)), as
described under ON or St.1/St.2.
Ventilation On (Vent . On) or fan stage 1 and stage 2 (St .1/St .2)
Ventilation damper move to OPEN position. The smoke exhaust fan is set to the selected peed in ventilation mode.
"Ventilation On" display lights up. The motor protection is functional. If an external smoke extraction signal is triggered, the
smoke extraction mode will activate.

Switch in 0 position (OFF): sealable
Switch in 1 position (ON): lockable
Risk of death or serious injury due to electric shock!
The EVS casing may only be opened in the 0 position after a waiting time of 3 seconds.
Resetting the EVS
The EVS has an internal button and external contact (terminal 60, 61) for centrally resetting the control unit in standby mode after
resetting the triggers for the individual detector circuits. The EVS can be reset using the main switch, push button alarm or the
covered reset button in the fireman's switch.
