POTENTIAL CAUSES
•
Improper positioning of
ignitor/flame rod to Pilot Head
(See figure 6 Page IV)
•
Poor ground between Relighter
Ignition Module (in flame
arrestor) and Pilot Head
Low Battery Voltage (11.50 Volt
minimum required)
•
Pilot ignition / sensing cable
connection
•
Poor termination of pilot ignition
/ sensing cable
•
Confirm electrical insulating
rubber boot is installed.
•
Confirm pilot gas valve has
power – check using a meter set
to DC voltage by putting the red
lead into terminal block TS1-13
and the black lead into terminal
block TS1-15.
•
Confirm gas pressure is
maintained even after pilot valve
opens
•
Confirm proper gas supply to
pilot gas valve.
•
Confirm safety input is active
•
Inspect heater safety chain
going into the TotalArc BMS for
failures.
•
Check for power using a meter
set to DC Voltage by putting the
red lead in terminal block TS1-8
and the black lead into TS1-2.
