7 .7 Securing the Awning to the Rail

This section describes how to attach the awning fabric to
the awning rail.

#6-20 x 7/16 in. Self-drilling

Hex Head Washer Screw

1. Remove slack by pulling the right edge of the awning
fabric approximately 1/4 in. (6.3 mm) to the right.
2. Secure the fabric with one #6-20 x 7/16 in. hex head
washer screw through the awning rail, approximately
2 in. (50.8 mm) from the fabric edge.
The screw secures the awning fabric to the awning
I
rail and prevents side-to-side fabric movement.
3. Repeat Steps 1–2 on the LH side, pulling the fabric to
the left.

Snap the hardware end covers into place.

8 Post-Installation
Complete the following steps to verify a proper
installation.
1. With power applied to the awning, open and close
the awning to verify that each part functions correctly.
2. Verify the alignment and that the hardware nests
properly. Adjust the hardware if necessary.

9 Disposal

Place the packaging material in the appropriate
