Calculating the opening and closing force
With the formulae indicated below it is possible to determine the
NOTE
approximate force required to open or close a (smooth-running) window.
The windows are assumed to be smooth-running. Possible snow loads are to
be considered.
The application formula can be used for bottom-hung windows, top-hung
windows, and skylights only.
NOTE
The permissible drive force is specifi ed in the technical data in section „4
Technical data" on page 18.
