Connections

Overview

Connections to external equipment are done via large and easy-to-use screw terminal blocks which
are accessible when the lid is removed. The placement of the terminals makes installation easy by
using the cable glands and thereby maintaining the IP-65 protection.
The RTCU NX-900 is delivered with three M20 cable glands.
A graphical overview of the device is shown below:

The stacked terminals contain connections for: analog and digital inputs/outputs, 12V/24 DC-
Output and DC power input.
The angled terminals contain connections for the communication interfaces: RS232 Port 1, RS232
Port 2, RS485 Port 1, RS485 Port 2, 1-Wire and the +5V DC-Output.
