This Minikit is for determining the quality of water produced by industrial and domestic water softeners.

Instructions
The sample size and the number of tablets per test depends on the total hardness of water required:
Water Hardness Required
Less than 4 mg/l (ppm)
Less than 8 mg/l
Less than 20 mg/l
1. Take an appropriate sample of water from the softener in the container provided.
2. Add the correct number of Hardness Yes/No tablets and replace the cap.
3. Shake the container until the tablets have completely disintegrated and no further colour
change takes place.
4. If the water turns RED, the total hardness is more than expected.
If the water turns GREEN, the total hardness is less than expected.
Cleaning
Rinse out and dry the sample container after every test.
