Overview Overview This document describes how to bring up the Broadcom BCM953128R8G reference board. Because there is no CPU in unmanaged mode application, the EEPROM is needed in this reference board to configure switch BCM53128 when the board powers on. The EEPROM has been preprogrammed before it is placed into the socket in the board. - Page 7 Block Diagram Figure 2 is the front view of the BCM953128R8G. The LEDs provide the following information: • The top LED(s) display the link speed as follows: green for 1000 Mbps, yellow for 100 Mbps, and off for 10 Mbps.
