3. OPERATING INFORMATION

3.1 Local Control

The inverter will operate a motor in an identical manner to that described in the operating instructions for the
inverter.
Note
An on/off switch must always be fitted to allow the motor to be switched on and off locally.

3.2 Remote Control

Different modes of remote control are available via the serial link (refer to parameters P927 and P928 in section
3.3.2 for details) .

3.3 System Parameters

The basic parameter set used by the CB15/CB155 is identical to that used for the inverter. However, some
parameters cannot be accessed because either they are not required or they have been replaced by PROFIBUS
parameters.

1 = Remote parameter control
